Everything we serve at The Waggon is produced with love and care.
The whole of the menu is produced on site. Dishes are made daily prepared fresh from produce sourced by trusted local suppliers. Right down to the bread - everything is homemade. The menu changes with the seasons, but the old favourites will always be around - you can't beat a steak & chips for £10! The blackboard is always packed with regularly changing dishes created by our talented and enthusiastic kitchen team.
Our wine list has been carefully chosen to include a great selection of quality wines from around the world, offering great value for money. We love all of the wines on the list (we regularly try them to make sure they're up to scratch!) and we are constantly tweaking and updating the list, keeping it fresh and exciting.
We have four hand pulls for real ales. Growler Bitter from the local Nethergate brewery is our standard house ale and the other three change weekly with new guest beers coming in from all over the country. A good range of lagers and bottled beers, craft ales and soft drinks are also available.
